    Gel Manicure + Waterless Gel Pedicure This treatment includes a cuticle tidy, file, shape, and soak-off gel polish of your choice for 14-21 days of long-wearing high shine gel polish on nails and toenails. Choose from 4 different Soak Off Gel Brands on the day including CND Shellac, Gelish, Gellux and Artistic Nail Design. (If you are not sure which one to go for, Tabby can discuss with you on the day which will be best for you based on your natural nail health, lifestyle and nail style.) Add nail art from £1 per nail with your choice of diamontes, rhinestones, hand painted designs, decals, stamps or foils. What is a gel colour and what does having a gel colour manicure involve? Gel Polishes are LED or UV cured gels that last longer than traditional nail polish. In this service, the nail is cleansed from surface contaminants with a nail cleanser. Depending on which Gel you go for will depend, if a light buff of the nail is required to prepare the gel followed by a primer which has a pH balancing agent in it to stabilise the moisture level of the nail. A foundation gel is applied which has adhesive properties to attract to the keratin of the natural nail and does not cause depletion of the nail but rather acts as a two-sided tape to adhere colour to the nail. Like normal polish, two colour coats and one top coat are also applied and then cured in a LED or UV lamp. Do not attempt to remove these gels with normal nail polish remover and most importantly resist the urge to pick at it when the manicure has been on for a couple of weeks and needs to be removed. Tabby uses authentic products from UK Distributors. She also prides herself in keeping up to date with current nail trends. Important - Restrictions To Services : Unfortunately Tabby will be unable to carry out appointments on hands or feet with open cuts, skin disorders, warts, ingrown toe nails or verrucas and other contagious skin/nail disorders. She takes hygiene are work seriously and this is for the benefit of all her clients. While she is keen to take care of your hands and feet, she reserves the right to refuse service and refer to GP or a Podiatrist if she feels fit. If you have a skin problem or something of this nature and are unsure if it is okay to receive a service please feel free to send Tabby a message to discuss. (Upon booking a pedicure and online mandatory foot consultation form will be sent to clients to fill in and send back before their appointment commences. Failure to fill out and send this back will result in appointment cancelation.)  FYI : Tabby uses an Enbio Medical Grade Auto Clave to sterilise her tools after washing and disinfecting them. A fresh nail file is provided for each new customer. Hygiene is taken very seriously here! Tabby specializes in nail art which you can add to all service from £1 per nail. Good To Know : Tabby works from home in a clean and creative space in the heart of the Golden Triangle which she shares with her two cats Bee Bee & Smithy, partner Carl and lots of plants! Her cats (who are very friendly) may wander past you or even come up to say hello. Just a heads up to anyone who may have cat allergies.   Tabby does not offer hard gel, acrylic, polygel or putty enhancements or infills/infill other salon's work. She does offer soft gel tip extensions. Tabby does not take on minors (aged 18 or below) or have children & babies accompany appointments in the treatment studio at this time. Currently she is only taking on one client at a time. Sorry for any inconvenience. Removal of gel product Tabby has applied is just £8 when booking alongside another service, but removals from another salon or nail tech will be charged from £15 when booking alongside another service or £18 when booking a removal alone. Repair Policy : Tabby will happily repair damages to any nails incurring damages within 48 hours of original service. After this time she will charge a fee to repair damages as any signs of noticeable damage that may be caused from the service itself will show within this time period.  Aftercare Advise : It is advised that clients choosing any pedicure services, but especially Gel Services wear cuticle oil everyday. If you don't already have a cuticle oil at home, Tabby stocks and sells a variety of cuticle oils which you can purchase on the day of your appt. Tabby will send out a PDF After Care guide either before or after your appointments with details of aftercare advise.
