    Wrinkle Relaxing (BTX) with Jeanette

    The treatment used for wrinkle reduction is Botulinum Toxin Type A. It is a purified protein used to temporarily relax muscles helping to soften facial expression and reverse the signs of ageing. It has been used therapeutically for a range of medical uses since the 1980s. We use exceptionally fine needles to target specific muscles. Typical areas treated are frown lines, laughter lines/crow’s feet, horizontal forehead lines etc. Advanced areas of the lower face can also be treated resulting in a balanced, youthful appearance. There is no downtime for this treatment, but there are guidelines to follow treatment for optimum results. Treatment includes a pre-treatment consultation to assess the individual movement of the muscles and a post treatment checkup appointment to check the procedure results and correct any further undesired movement.
