Which when injected targets local area of fatty tissues and liquefies the fat cells permanently from that area. The liquefied fat is removed from the body through the lymphatic system. The aqaulyx injections have 4 main ingredients. buffer systems (4.2%), deoxycholic acid (7.5%), water for injection purposes (87%) and sodium chloride (0.8%). Below are the ingredients broken down. •Buffering chemicals - The buffer system ensures that the  deoxycholic acid sodium chloride, sugars and water are delivered to the target area. • Modified compound of deoxycholic acid - deoxycholic acid is a manmade form of a substance your body makes that helps to absorb fats. Deoxycholic acid works by destroying fat cells where it is injected into the body.  • Red microalgae sugars - which is a type of sugar produced from algae •other sugars •sodium chloride - Is a chemical name for salt, •water - the water encourages the broken down fat cells to leave the body through the lymphatic glands What is the procedure? You will have multiple injections around the chosen area. Anaesthetic will be applied prior to the injections, and lidocaine is also mixed with the solution as the solution on its own can sting. So the lidocaine will be used to help ease those pains. You can experience, redness, soreness, swelling and a slight rash after the injections. This shouldn't last more than 24 hours. It can feel painful up to a week after your injections. Paracetamol will help with that, also apply a cold ice pack to help reduce the risk of swelling, redness and pain. Avoid hot water or perfumed products and soaps for at least 24 hours to allow the puncture entries to heal. You may see instant results but results will keep coming through up to 8 weeks after the sessions.
