Done my hair a year ago and was amazing. Went in for a strand test, was very hostile, barely said two words. Took the stand of hair asked for my numbe...r said she’d text me with the result in 40 mins to a hour, never got back onto me despite me messaging her. — originally left a 1-star review based on how I felt during my consultation. I personally found the interaction rushed and the quite hostile and uncomfortable, which made it hard for me to ask all the questions I had about my hair. I understand salons get busy, and I wasn't expecting immediate replies, but clearer communication would've helped avoid the confusion I experienced afterwards when I was given a time frame for the result of the strand test. After posting my review, I was contacted directly by the salon owner, she explained better that she busy which is completely understandable. I'm very understanding I was just confused cause she said a time frame and didn't follow through. But she told me it would be "in my best interest" to remove the review. I found that wording inappropriate and somewhat threatening it made me feel pressured rather than heard. Especially after While I understand defending your business, I don't believe it's fair to try and silence someone's personal experience, especially when it was shared respectfully. To be clear, I never said anything false — I simply shared how I felt. I also acknowledged in my original review that the stylist is talented, which I still believe. I just think every client should feel comfortable and heard, and unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. Show more

Hi Megan Thanks for your feedback, we always appreciate hearing from past and present customers on how we may improve our service. I had a quick look back on the camera just to make sure I had the right person in mind and it appears that you had a full free consultation with me about your hair as well as the strand test so I'm a little confused where the 'two words" comment has come from. However if I appeared hostile I apologize immediately, you did have your hair done a year ago so I'm sure you remember that I'm not hostile at all, Saturday was an extremely busy day so again apologies if I appeared that way. I do have your strand test results and your on my list to contact on Wednesday as I just didn't get the chance yet, super busy! However owing to the tone of your review I will assume you no longer require my services. If that changes please reach out or pop back in.
