I've been seeing Denise since I moved to atlanta. My first few experiences were kinda wonky as I was charged twice the first time I saw her but it was... an easy fix and she refunded me. I was pleased with my hair extensions besides the few instances of unprofessionalism that would occur. For example she would completely over book her self which would cause my appointments to drag out. I STILL continued to see her and ignore all the red flags (which was completely my fault) and now today I am typing this with extreme breakage and hair loss. Not only did she leave the protein treatment on my RELAXED (she knows I'm relaxed as she provided me the service) hair to long, she wasn't even going to say anything about my hair loss until I noticed it. I am extremely heart broken by this as my hair in the back of my head is so damaged I now have to shave it off and go natural. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER SERVICES. She is an extremely nice lady but unfortunately I went in to see her with really healthy hair as I was natural for 4 years prior and parted ways with her with extreme hair loss and scalp burns. Denise is Very talented and professional! I have had coily, natural hair for almost 10 years. Denise is the only beautician I’ve been to that uses min...imal heat and pulling on my hair (and I am tender-headed!). She straightens my hair with one pass and quickly and gently styles with one pass. That’s it! She’s also always on time, communicative about how you want your hair to look and is polite. She also devotes her time to only one client at a time within her own loft. I could rave more, but I’ll stop here. She’s amazing! Show more
DENISE IS A MIRACLE WORKER. My mother, myself, and my 2 sisters all have different hair textures/types and she was able to wash, dry, and cut all of o...ur hair EXACTLY how we wanted to and was able to cut my thick curly hair while wet! most stylists have to dry and straighten my hair before cutting it but Denise can do it all! After my first visit, I recommended my mother and 2 sisters go see her and now she has 4 new regular customers! If you are looking for natural hair care on the southside, DENISE IS THE BEST!! The stylist is always prompt and during the Pandemic creates an environment where her customers feel safe. She informs you of her days off each month,... and is expeditious when doing your hair. I love the way my hair and scalp feels after a wash and hydrate. Even though this isn't listed, she also provided natural hair care services, too. I purchased a coupon on Groupon for a Keratin Treatment. When I called to set up an appointment, Denise asked if I could get a refund from Groupon and... pay her directly. She also asked me how much I paid for it. She told me she will give me a call in the afternoon to set up an appointment, and I did not hear from her. I waited two days and called her. She told me again that she is with a customer and she will call me back. She never called me back, and she never returned my phone calls to set up an appointment. She is extremely unprofessional.
