I usually utilize VIP nails Belmont as my go to. I have overall experienced fantastic service, and I am sure to add appropriate gratuity to reflect th...at. However, the last time I went in to get a no chip manicure, it started peeling within four days. They usually last at least two weeks. Unfortunately my work schedule runs parallel to the salon’s schedule, so I could not return within a reasonable amount of time to get it fixed. Today I went in for a soak off, and a basic manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was smudged before I even got a block away from the salon. The reason I didn’t return then and there was because the manicure smeared four times before I even left the salon, and I was there for an hour extra trying to get it sorted. I needed to be heading for work by that stage. My cuticles weren’t properly cared for either. The final manicure fix started smearing as soon as I got down the block to adjust my sandals, which is when I noticed my toes. This is all highly unfortunate, as I don’t have a lot of discretionary money for luxuries, so I am sure to set aside funds for these services as a treat to myself on occasion. I usually spend over $100 when I get my standard no chip manicure and regular pedicure, which has previously been completely worth the money. However, between my last visit where I spent over $100 and today’s visit which I spent just under $100, I’m going to have to reconsider taking my business elsewhere, since apparently I’m paying for expensive subpar work. So disappointed and sad. Show more
