I wrote a review over a year ago (2023) however, I am reading some reviews and was compelled to write an updated one I find Joel being one of - if n...ot the -best barber in Chicago. I am 61 yrs old and do not like sports! Joel respects that; he’ll even play music that I grew up listening to and will not play or talk about sports .. sometimes he’ll joke and bring up a basketball game .. loll … I never felt any form of discrimination it isn’t him! In fact, I would sometimes feel guilty having him listening to my type of music but I think that he enjoys it too .. Finally, thanks Joel for being my barber Show more

I’m a 65-year-old who went to Joel because he was referred to me by a neighbor who highly recommended him and boasted about his brand. My neighbor inf...ormed me that he is The Barber for many of the Chicago Cubs. However, I experienced a service that was not committed to making sure I was satisfied. Nor did he attempt to provide the level of service that he is known for. He was rushed and distracted the entire time and didn’t make me feel like he was interested in my continued patronage.
