I love them, as that area does not seem to grow as long as the side and back of my hair. I decided to have Danyel do my highlights as well, to make like easier with one appointment, and she did all 3 services the same day, during my appointment last week. I usually don’t take the time to leave a review, even when Iv received subpar service but am completely disgusted by the overpriced ($1,850 to be exac...t) and unacceptable customer service I received! I have had hair extensions installed over many years by multiple professional stylists and this is by far my worst experience. I especially do not recommend her for women of color as she has absolutely no knowledge on texture matching. Since she insists that she stands by her work, I’m happy to share the results. During our consultation, she Insisted she could only perform the service with the extensions she sells for which she is an ambassador. She was not knowledgeable of the different textured hair extensions available on the market and insisted her extensions were top quality (despite being remy and not virgin), assuring me my hair would blend fine once I receive keratin treatment. Given this is my first keratin treatment, after reading her other reviews on yelp, I’m not even sure it was done correctly since my hair is the same a few days later vs lasting for 3 months as claimed. For that price, I expect satisfactory service as a bare minimum. I gave her the opportunity to rectify it by offering to have her replace with trusted, virgin hair I purchased myself which would be a better texture match. She insisted she would need to “charge additional for her time” on top of the $1850 I had to pay to look like this! The individual hair pieces also look separated instead of blending together. Instead of taking accountability and constructive feedback, she will blame anything and anyone but her poor service. I have since had to go elsewhere to get it fixed for a fraction of the price because I was absolutely not giving her any MORE money. Please be sure to read her yelp reviews as well before booking. I especially do not recommend her if your hair texture is anything but fine and silky as she admittedly has less experience with servicing textured hair which I wish I had known before. Show more

Great at styling and presentation. Poor for hair care. Over the last two years I’ve had my extensions done three times and each time my hair was more ...broken, thinned and damaged. I’ve gotten countless extension styles over the last decade and have never had the severe damage I did over these last two. The proper advisement on hair care and treatments just wasn’t there. It’s heartbreaking. Wish Danyel and all her clients the best and hopefully this will be useful feedback for her as well as clients that have an interest in growing and working on their hair health. I’ll show you pictures of how my hair was damaged during the time Danyel did my extensions. Those will speak for themselves. Not at a matter of blame just calling it like it is! Also she uses nylon thread which is extensions 101 a no. She takes no accountability for caring about nothing but getting more extensions in your head and being careless about your hair. I asked for a relaxer on just my edges and she put it throughout my entire head. Just careless. Do better for your hair! Show more

I want to start by saying I am sorry you are experiencing thinning. However the thinning your experiencing has nothing to do with my method of hair extensions. Your thinning is happening on your edges none of my hair extension methods involve edges. I leave out all edges on my extensions. I know when we as woman experience hair thinning we are always looking at someone or something to blame. I don’t practice hair extension installs that damage or cause thinning. If your experiencing hair loss go to a dermatologist and find out the root problem to why your hair is thinning. Do not blame your hairstylist especially when it’s in areas that the extensions were not in. I do want to add I make every effort in recommending the proper supplements, hair care routine, high end products, and i also have great doctors i refer my guest too.
