My appointment started about 30 minutes past the start time. I had more hair/ thickness than she expected so she advised me I would be charged approxi...mately 35 dollars more. Things happen and get behind. I didn’t mind paying more either. However, with the trim + 10 tip I paid about 150. And for how my hair turned out, it was disappointing. My hair was not pressed as I am used too. I left with my hair still “poofy” near the roots and frizzy. She advised me my hair wasn’t trained. I’ve never had someone tell me that my hair needed to be trained more for a silk press so that was new to me. I didn’t argue the price upon leaving. I was overall disappointed because I paid for a service. I had to re- straighten my roots for the event. Reply: Yes, correct I walked in around 1:17 and waited until about 1:45. But it’s no problem, like I said sometimes appointments going longer than expected. I just was hoping for a more of a pressed look. I’m more than happy to pay for the service. No need to send photos for a discounted price. It asked me for a review so I wanted to be transparent about my experience. Thank you! Show more

Hi Tanisha your appointment was at 1:15pm, started at approximately 1:30pm while you arrived at 1:17pm. I did not charge for thickness, I stated that your hair was beautiful and thick. I specifically charged you for the correct service of mid back length that I physically showed you on my actual listing. I'm unsure how often or the last time you've had your hair straightened, but as you seen, I used stove grade Marcel flat irons, a hot comb and the nano titanium flat iron. Your hair would burn if there was anything hotter. Curly/ kinky hair has to be trained if it has never or has not been straightened in a long time. You stated that you straightened your roots for your event, if you can send a picture of your hair straighter than what stove grade instruments did I will gladly send 50% of your money back immediately. I deeply apologize for your experience but I'm glad you were very detailed because anyone that knows about getting their hair straightened will know exactly what it means for your hair to need training.
