I got referred to Crystal by my brother who always comes back with the most crisp and creative designs in his braids. We’re both hard critics so I kne...w she had to be top tier— and she did not disappoint! She was very communicative from beginning to end, from letting me know if traffic held her up to informing me of the style expectancy over the next few weeks. Additionally, she is very compassionate and considerate. She accommodated my personal requests and was professional the entire time, I felt like I was being focused on and tended to as if I was a regular despite it being my first time in her chair! My comb coils have lasted over 3 weeks and I get daily compliments. It’s crystal clear that I’ll definitely be back! 💙 Show more

AFTER HOUR FEE

Started an hour and a half late. Still left to get food at some point. Pressuring me to order food so she could eat hers. Making up prices on the spot... to charge me for that weren’t on the site. Switched my service to something I didn’t ask for then complained the whole time. More concerned about length than what I stated I wanted for MY hair. A 3 hour appointment that was meant to end at 1pm, went until 4:40 and that’s only because I told her I had to leave to go to work. And the Got2be hairspray at the end, over locs?? didn’t do anything but piss me off more tbh. And yes, I was late to work. And no I won’t be returning. Show more

Your locs were not budding correctly due to poor maintenance… seeing as it is your on your Third set of locs… I offered my professional opinion on how to fix the issue, you said you only wanted to fix 6 even though much more were needed…My LOC REATTACHMENTS and LOC MAINTENANCE are $10 per loc under ADD ONS on my booksy price list… maybe you missed that. What I suggested was instead of paying $60 for maintenance with a retwist of $120 to only fix 6 locs, you could just pay $200 for me to do Instant locs which are $250 to maintenance your whole head essentially saving you money. The appointment went longer because you booked for a loc retwist when you needed Instant locs instead because more than half of your hair was NOT locked… I am very passionate about hair and maybe you mistook me explaining proper care of your locs as me complaining. i believe it was simple miscommunication. If at any point you were uncomfortable you could have just told me since I asked you multiple times where you ok as I do ALL my client… I also followed up with you after your appointment and still no complaints.. imagine my shock reading this review, I had a perfect 5 star until this review I guess you can’t please everyone, Best of luck to you🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
