Hands down the best barber in Chicago—now with a second location! I’ve been going to Mateo for 2 years and I seriously won’t let anyone else touch my... hair if I can help it. He’s a total perfectionist, which is exactly what I want in a barber. He takes his time (appointments are an hour for a reason) and makes sure every detail is sharp, even, and just right. No rushing, no cutting corners—just a great, consistent haircut every single time. This new location just opened, and I already know it’s going to be just as popular as the original. The first shop has hundreds of five-star reviews, and for good reason. The whole team is talented—one time, Mateo was booked, and I had to go with another barber, and even that cut was great—but if I can, I always go out of my way to book with Mateo. If you’re looking for a barber who actually cares about their work and won’t rush you out of the chair, go see Mateo. Show more
