I debated whether or not to leave this review, but after spending close to 200 on my appointment…I decided to go ahead with it. My stylist was nice an...d my hair turned out well besides the highlights not being exactly how I had expected, but I had requested a highlight, trim and wash/deep condition and expected/planned the rest of my day out to just be there for 2 hours. 2 hours and 30 minutes at worst. Especially after calling ahead to inquire to see if a highlight was ok to add to my appointment ahead of time. I ended up actually being there for 4 hours with one person working on my head. My stylist appeared extremely distracted the entire time, and I couldn’t help but take that in as what added up to so much time being spent there. I would have been ok if I had gotten a bit more of a discount for the length of time I had spent there and would have even tipped under those conditions, but that did not happen and now I’m back on the hunt for looking for a new hair salon for natural hair after looking on and off for years after having my hair damaged by other natural hair salons I checked out. 😩 Show more
So when I arrived at the hair shop, they were not very friendly, which made the first initial greeting very uncomfortable. Then the person that was ac...tually supposed to be doing my hair wasn’t really the one that knew how to even do my hair let alone sew-ins it was more like, The owner herself knew she should’ve been the one doing my hair because the other girl was learning. Then they literally like didn’t break tight around the edges. I liked it that part however they just put for minimum to like no effort here we are they five of my selling and I already have track slipping. I already had my braces loose and this is with me doing minimum to like no care meaning I keep it up in the bonnet. I don’t put water on it so my sewing should not be coming undone Overall I just gave them a one star I know that Rose was expecting like a five point star review but it’s not worth it. I’m really hoping they are not the only African-American hair shop in Colorado because I will not be going. mind you I paid $180 plus brought my own hair so altogether my purchase was like 220 bucks to get my hair done and sewins are supposed to last for three months. I believe that by the end of September, which I just got my hair done on 1 September, I will be having to see like to go get my hair done at another shop. It was just really a waste of money. Great experience at RHOB!! Nay Nay my stylist was supper sweet, attentive, and informative. She gave me the Keratin deluxe treatment and my hair loved... it. Rose welcomed me and gave me great advice on how to reach my hair goals. They both Educated me on the best ways to maintain my curly thinning hair. I was comfortable and in and out in a timely manner. Definitely recommend. Show more

Great energy and good vibes. My appointment started right on time and I felt well taken care of by Normil ❤️. I have very thick 4c hair and she was ab...le to detangle and blow dry with ease. I just moved to the Denver area and was worried about leaving my 9 yr stylist up North. The ladies were very professional and accommodating. My style was colored, butt length knotless, with human hair boho (vacation hair). There was a mis...hap at the beginning of the appointment but the owner rectified the issue immediately. The appointment started at 9am and finished around 2pm. I was pretty much in, and out considering the choice of style. I will be booking again with Rose House of Beauty! Show more
