I scheduled my silk press for 3:30 PM, but I wasn’t seated until 4:05 PM. The explanation given was that another client had booked through a different... booking site. Instead of starting my appointment at the scheduled time and adjusting accordingly, she continued servicing the other client until around 4:00 PM, which left me as the last appointment of the day. Unfortunately, the service felt rushed as a result. Additionally, during my appointment, her husband and toddler came into the shop. While I completely understand balancing family life, the crying and running around added unnecessary distraction and stress to what should have been a relaxing experience especially after the earlier delays. For $110 and a one-hour drive, I expected a more professional and timely experience. In hindsight, I should have used the $50 Groupon instead of paying full price based on the recommendation by her, to do so. My hair has been wrapped since the appointment, and by Wednesday (day 3), it’s already starting to revert, which is disappointing for a silk press at this price point. Overall, the lack of punctuality, rushed service, and environment did not match the cost or commute, and I wouldn’t make that drive again for this level of service. She could have well responded under my review as everyone else. She insisted to text me privately hostile for my review.

It is unfortunate to see that you had a bad experience at Blossoms. Here, I strive to not only meet the desired outcome for all my clients, but also customize treatments that would benefit each individual persons hair. In your particular situation, you came to me just coming out of a quick weave. You explained that your hair is typically left in this state which caused a lot of damage. My recommendation was for you to receive a hair treatment, as your hair was extremely dry and damaged. You declined my professional recommendation. Because of this, I explained that I could not guarantee the outcome of your silk press. When it came time to trim your ends, I explained that you needed a healthy trim but I would only cut what you were comfortable with as there was very little healthy hair. Each step of the way you declined my recommendation. Putting myself in your shoes, it would appear that you were already upset with the long wait time. Steps have been taken since your experience, one being the hiring of an assistant, to make sure every client is serviced at their appointment time. I have also moved all of my clients to one scheduling app. I have also implemented a very strict consultation prior to services being rendered. I hope you find the perfect stylist to help you on your healthy hair journey. Also, we did refund you the cost of your service.

Who are you exactly! We haven’t been in business in over a year. If you are going to give a 1 star review, please give details of your experience. I have never seen you in my business, and considering I have been closed for over a year and a half do to PPD, this review is fraudulent.
