I hope you will work on that in the future. This is my final response on this. Take care. I would first like to say that Ms. Shy's skills in styling hair is excellent. I was a first time client to her salon. I was happy with the hairstyle. However, my experience as a 1st time client was not the best. When i arrived on time for my appointment, there were 2 clients ahead of me. When she got to me she appeared rushed. There was a personal matter going on which caused her to be on the phone the majority of the time. She kept burning me with the curling iron and I flinched but she didn't really seem to notice because she was on the phone. The experience for me felt disconnected. Perhaps i met her on a bad day. I hate that because her work is really good. Show more

Thank you Janet for your review when you arrived there was 1 client ahead of you which you arrived early yes there was 2 clients one leaving and one getting finished . however when it was your appointment time I informed you I WILL have to take the next call because THERE WAS A SCHOOL SHOOTING THREAT AT MY SON SCHOOL !! YES MAAM I WAS ON THE PHONE THE ENTIRE TIME TO ENSURE THAT MY SON WAS SAFE AND STAYED CALM WHEN YOU SAT DOWN IN THE CHAIR YOUR FIRST COMMENT WAS YOU HAD BEEN TO MANY STYLIST HERE IN CHARLOTTE THAT DIDNT WORK FOR YOU AND YOU SAID YOU HOPE THIS EXPERIENCE IS GOOD YOU ENTERED INTO THE SALON WITH DEFENSE I ASSURED YOU THAT I WOULD TAKE CARE OF YOU TO MAKE YOUR EXPERIENCE GREAT As many of my clients know I DO NOT TOUCH MY PHONE or ANSWER CALLS while I am servicing clients or have anyone in my chair unless there is an emergency! When you left you was very rude to me . I have been in this industry a very long time and I knew that you and I wasn’t a good match from the beginning of the service because of the interaction. I am a very upbeat , pleasant , RESPECTFUL , extremely personable , VERY PROFESSIONAL and always ensure the best client satisfaction. I honestly thought that this review would come much sooner because of the way impacted the salon so negatively . I wish you the best on your hair care journey please know that if you can’t have a good day please don’t and ruin some one else’s peace and blessings
