Wash Day Two Strand Twist

Unfortunately my experience with Leslie was on a downward turn before I even made it into the salon. My original appointment was scheduled for 12:15p.... Around 9, I was texted asking if I could reschedule due to a sick child. I understand this was out of her control and agreed to reschedule to 2:30 that afternoon. At 12:34 I received a text that she would not be at the salon until 3p. I arrived at the salon at 2:51 but Leslie was not there yet. After texting her, she told me she missed her exit and would be a few more minutes. She arrived around 3:20 with her young daughter and called me into the salon around 3:25. As soon as I got in the salon we went straight to the wash bowl for my wash and conditioner. She did have to leave me quite a few times to tend to her daughter who was playing in the salon. After my conditioner we went back to her station for styling. Before she could start, a man walked into the salon and asked to speak to her. She asked if they could step out because she “ wasn’t going this in front of her daughter”. Leslie came back in after about 5-10 minutes and immediately started packing up because she had been asked to leave. We ended up finishing my hair in my home where we paused several times to tend to her child. I feel like I can’t give a true review of my hair due to everything else that happened. I most likely will not book again. Show more

Completely unprofessional. If you need someone who values your time then go elsewhere. Did a decent enough job on my hair but forgot to bring the ment...ioned products . Everything came with an excuse . She also refuses to refund me the 15$ that i paid for hair accessories that she “forgot” to bring with her . I apologize for your experience with A Natural Oasis. I totally forgot to take into account for holiday traffic when accepting your last-minute house call appointment on the 22nd of Dec. To which I did wave the 25$ travel fee. I do sincerely apologize that I forgot to bring the rubber bands that my two strand twist rarely requires. You seemed extremely pleased with the color and twist service when i left, but nonee the les, it was a pleasure to have met you. We live, and we learn.
