      Nail trim and grind. This allows me to expose the quick without causing discomfort or bleeding. After a few times of having your dog's nails ground down their quick will slowly begin to resend and will allow for the nails to be cut shorter. This is also beneficial for parents that have jumping dogs because after the grinding your dog's nails will be smooth and less likely to scratch or cut when your dog jumps.
