There’s easy street parking available near the salon. There are interesting accents for ambiance and soothing “vintage” music in the background. I rea...lly appreciated how Angelica listened to what I have done with my hair in the past and then interpreted/translated it to the perm that I should have. She is also a pleasant and patient conversationalist that made the time pass quickly. If you could send me the name of the spray in leave in conditioner product to style my perm that would be good. Your prices are reasonable, very appreciated. My perm is working out great for me! Show more

Angelica/Tigerlilie did the hair and makeup for my wedding and I can't stop talking about how great it was! Between me, my bridesmaids and the Mothers... of, we have different lengths and hair textures, but we all looked like we stepped out of a 1930s movie! The make up and hair skills these ladies have is incredible! We received non stop compliments about our hair and makeup. Guests were so impressed about the detail taken! My husband and I plan to take pictures in our wedding clothes every year on our anniversary, so I'll be visiting Tigerlilie evert May! Show more
Vintage hair... what.more do u need to know!
I have been going to Tigerlilie for up-dos for years, and for some reason only started getting my hair cut by Angelica. I don't know why I didn't go t...here for everything. The new space is just opening and is close by the old location. I had multiple stylists tag team my wedding party and I just can't highly recommend this place enough. Show more

Tanya has been doing my hair for the past 5 years and it always turns out anazing! No matter the color, cut or style she nails it every time. She also... gives me great recommendations to products or treatments to maintain my healthy hair in between visits. I followed her from Lincoln Squares: Renaissance Salon to Tigerlilie. It took me years to find a stylist I trust; especially having curly hair... I will remain loyal to her. She is the best! If anyone has concerns or is nervous about trying a new hair stylist, I strongly suggest you go see Tanya! Show more
First of all I am not a hair person at all where I barely bother to comb my hair and rarely cut it, and to the point where I just cut it straight and ...trim it myself. My hair is usually stick straight and very boring. Any curling I do it becomes straight again shortly after, and usually falls flat or apart in a few hours. Angelica was amazing, my hair survived the Chicago heat and humidity on our August wedding date. We had a trial and she was able to put together 3 different hairdos in 45 minutes. It was so impressive how she is able to make the hair move and do what she wants. She is truly an artist, sculpting and creating such an authentic look with your hair. She just transports you to a different time and era. Her personality is so reflective of this as she is so gentle, genuine, and gracious. She arrived on time and is easy to talk to, get along with, and flexible. I felt so happy after the trial do that I hugged her and couldn't wait for her to do my hair for the wedding! I actually looked forward to it instead of dreading it. She is a natural genius and makes such a unique and classic look. I had so many compliments and the overall look was absolutely fitting for me and I felt stunning. What was impressive was that she created a different look for 5 other family members. She did this all herself without an assistant. She just exceeded my expectations and totally got me and family on the right mood and start for the wedding day. I couldn't be happier and would certainly recommend her to others. Show more

I found Angelica and Tigerlilie Salon on Yelp looking for a vintage hair salon. She now has a new location on Western just south of the El tracks in L...incoln Square. The major work is done and the salon is a blank slate. I went in looking for something "pin-uppy" and sassy for a holiday party and man, did she deliver! I arrived at my party to non-stop compliments and requests for her cards. I am thoroughly overjoyed with the look she gave me and if I could recommend her any higher, I surely would! Show more
