I have been with Katrina for over 30 years and through six (I believe) locations. She used to be 1.5 blocks from me, and each move has taken her furth...er away. She's now 3.6 miles from home. I'd follow her across a bridge, if necessary. She has taken me through perms (back in the 90s), colors, and cuts. When I shaved my head for charity (supporting children with cancer), she took a buzzer to my head. I've had both long and short styles over years, and I've always loved what she's done. And Katrina will never rush. She takes her time, makes sure you get what you want. Once she knows you, she'll tell you when she thinks something is a mistake. I wanted bangs about 5-6 years ago. She said because my hair was thinning, she would have to go half-way back along my skull to make it work. I immediately said never mind. While I was sad my hair was thinning that much, I was very grateful I didn't walk out looking bad. I honestly don't know what I'll do when she retires. Show more

Katrina is a curly hair goddess. She has been cutting and/or coloring my hair for over 15 years! I have medium to long curly hair. The cuts are consis...tently great. For the last two years, Katrina has been adding light gold highlights to blend with the incoming gray (I'm 51). I feel beautiful when I leave her salon! She cut and colored my mom's hair for years too (in her 70s at the time). Katrina is also a cool person, I enjoy our time together. Show more
