You were unable to get the highlights you requested, because you had jet black dye on your hair. It would have damaged it beyond repair to try to process it at this time. I will not compromise the integrity of anyone's hair. The style you requested required your ends to be trimmed, do to them being split. Hopefully you'll be able to find a stylist to give you what you desire.
