The Loc’d Experience

Today for the first time since I've been loc'd I had the pleasure of having my services provided by one of T. Michae's apprentices. Her name is Michel...le Monique (at least thats her Facebook handle) she started me off with a wash and shampoo, which felt divine. Her work area was pristine and this young lady definitely looked the part. Great hygiene, a great conversationalist because we all know some good convo at the barbershop is a must. From the shampoo bowl she put me in the chair did a scalp analysis (which also felt great) to ascertain what she needed to do. Michelle has worked on my previously finishing up tasks T. Michae instructed her to do. Today she had the whole ride as T. Michae was coming into the studio later. She asked me what style i wantedd my locs in and recommended 2 strand twists. Being that shes worked on me before i webt with her recommendation since I'm a high school baseball umpire and needed a style where I could wear a baseball cap over it and the cap sit right on my head. I must say I am thoroughly pleased at the end result. Not only did she style my hair for functionality but also for that night out on the town. The beard trim and shape up were the icing on the cake. Once T. Michaé made it to the studio she gave me a quick lookover and signed off on the craftsmanship. I am beyond satisfied with the finished product and feel absolute confidence in this young lady working on me. She definitely has paid attention to what the master stylist T. Michaé has taught her. I was very impressed not only by her knowledge and work but also by her professionalism. Which was very easy to see that she was one of T. Michaé's acolytes. Definitely will not mind when the master sends her my way. Money well spent. Show more
