This is my 2nd visit. First visit was 5-star because of the technician. This visit was just OK because the technician was not attentive or communicati...ve. Instead she was only going through the motions and this resulted in only a fair pedicure experience. Show more

The atmosphere is good - clean, bright and welcoming. Staff is very polite and friendly. Pricing is reasonable with an extensive range of services. Wh...en booking on-line, the premium services are listed first followed by the more basic services which can require additional "clicks" to find. My impression is they are usually busy, so the service can sometimes feels a bit rushed. Overall it's a good choice. Show more

Upon arrival, I had the best experience with the receptionist. He was kind, attentive, and friendly. Unfortunately, once my service began I was cut on... my toe with the cuticle trimmer and left the salon with a cut toe, uneven and bumpy nails, and zero compensation or apology from the front desk staff. The nail tech working on my pedicure did apologize for cutting my toe after I addressed it myself when it began stinging after being placed in the water. This was my first and last experience with NOA River Oaks. Show more

Very clean, mostly quiet and calm atmosphere. Nail techs for both my manicure and pedi were so polite and did a great job. Was helped soon as I walked... in for my appointment and the front desk ladies were very courteous. Was offered a drink a few times during my visit and when I said I was looking forward to relaxing during the massage they very politely respected my request. So far great experience for my first time. I was referred and will book again for my full set appt. Show more

I have been going to this salon for 6+ months for nails (dip) and pedicures. The technicians do a good job. I had a terrible experience today. I made ...an appointment for my daughter and i (for her birthday), arrived on time and was seated. A technician came to do my daughter's nails. I waited, watching other technicians finish their clients, head to the back, talk up front, etc. After an hour I asked when my nails were going to get done. I got several apologies - they had obviously forgotten about me! . 10 minutes later my technician came. My technician told me a big group of walk-in customers had come in earlier. By now my daughters nails were done. She waited 40 minutes while they worked on mine. When I was finished I asked the woman at the register if the owner would offer me a discount. At this point I had been there nearly 2 hours. He was standing right in front of me but chose not to speak to me directly. She came back with a $6 discount off of a $106 charge!! He refused to be accountable for accepting too many walk ins and not being staffed to handle reserved appointments. I will never go here again. Show more
