I’m reluctant to give a review. I’ve worked so hard to grow my hair now I have to start the process of growing my hair over again. My head was literal...ly burning during that dye mixed with peroxide mix that was put on my head. I realized peroxide was used by my hair turning brown/blonde after a week or so when I washed it. Hair was falling out in the shower, no combing just coming out. Anyone who know me know I don't tamper around with cheap online products. The fact that a stylist won't take responsibility for her mistake and then doesn't try and offer to have me come in to fix the problem. My health is no concern because of a passing conversation especially since It's hard to explain anything when she doesn't listen. Hi Lorraine you'have been coming to me for awhile, your natural I just gave you blow dry only services or a silk press a few time, and a demi color, as long as you've come to me I have not changed anything, you told me a few weeks ago you had been sick, had to go to the Drs they gave you meds for your blockage, when I seen you a few weeks ago you stated your just now feeling better (we did our normal service, you called me a week ago with what your going through, I told you back then being in the business over 30 years I've seen what certain meds have done to a person's body and hair, in the meantime I gave you instructions on the importance of professional shampoo to use etc, be careful what you order online, I shared with you I think you should go back to your Drs something is really wrong, I even prayed with you when you first shared with me, but as your stylist I have not changed anything when it comes to products for you, your natural you have no chemicals in your hair just a demi semi which has no peroxide but a color prompter it's a longer lasting semi color that does not burned I'm really surprised never once you complain in 2 years. I really care about you, but it's okay I know who is behind this, but I'm yet encouraged, if it makes you feel better by stating I made your hair start to come out, then I would have to leave you in the hands of God. I believe stylists should be honest and transparent about the quality of services they can confidently provide. Unfortunately, this was by far the wor...st braid-down I’ve ever received. I’ve had sew-ins before with other stylists whose braids were neat, precise, and small — allowing the bundles to lay flat and look natural. While Regenia was kind in person, she rushed through my braid-down, which resulted in a bulky, uneven sew-in. The final style did not reflect the reference photos I provided beforehand. When I expressed my concerns, the blame was placed on the hair I brought — but if the look couldn’t be achieved with the hair I had, that should have been communicated before the install began. I respectfully asked for a refund — even just a partial one — and was denied. I believe that when a customer is not satisfied, especially due to poor technique or lack of communication, there should be some accountability rather than dismissal. While I see positive reviews for her other services, I would strongly not recommend booking a sew-in. If you’re looking for a high-quality sew-in and a stylist who is transparent and stands by their work, I suggest seeking someone else in the Seattle-Tacoma area. I wish I had trusted my gut and not moved forward with the appointment. I wasted $335 of my hard earned money. Show more
