Refreshing to go to a sauna and feel relaxed with the lavender essential oil. I was greeted very pleasantly and very helpful by Leely. My doctor has r...ecommended a sauna to sweat out all the toxins that are in my body. I am definitely going back and my husband will join me. A private sauna and just bring yourself to your therapy. I've been coming here for the last few years and I've NEVER been disappointed. I was greeted by name, informed of their cash discount, filled out the ...paper on what areas I wanted the masseuse to pay special attention to, and was promptly escorted to my room where I proceeded to enter the gates of heaven for an hour. The atmosphere was perfect. The background music was at the perfect level, as was the lighting. Perfect amount of pressure throughout the entire massage and the hot stones were wonderful. So relaxing I think I caught myself snoring a couple of times. New Spring Day Spa has never disappointed me, ever! Show more

Treated myself to an hour massage yesterday at New Spring Day Spa and it was fabulous as always! Every single massage I have had here has been spectac...ular. All of the masseuses I've had have been fantastic! I do not have favorites and never ask for anybody specific, but Sabrina was out of this world. Just the right amount of pressure the entire massage, PLUS hot stones were a wonderful unexpected surprise. My only regret is that it was only an hour! Next time, 90 minutes! The price is right too! My 60-minutes deep tissue massage was amazing! Much better than many more expensive massages I have gotten. I told the therapist that I was recovering... from a shoulder injury and he was very good about checking in about everything he was doing around that area and about the pressure: and he really worked on it to improve range of motion and relieve pain. Worth the 25-minute drive from Berkeley (plus free, plentiful parking). Not fancy but clean and professional. Show more

The first 30 mins of it was great. The masseuse then left to get hot stones and left the door to our room open for the remainder of our visit. This al...lowed sound from conversations in the hallway and sounds from the freeway in. The beginning of your visit you fill out a card with any injuries for your masseuse to avoid - she then double checked who each card was for, then proceeded to grab my injured hand and began squeezing and pulling at it, until I pulled it away and said, no that’s injured!
