Hi Shante, I’m honestly surprised & disappointed by the review—especially after the care, clarity & service I gave, along w/ the compliments Tonisha shared. She booked under your Booksy, requested an end clip ($25 add-on listed on my site), but didn’t personally view the service menu. At the bowl, she asked for it. No issues or dissatisfaction were mentioned during or after. In fact, she later requested face-framing after the end clip & said it was exactly what she wanted. I never charged for a full haircut, even though shaping went beyond a basic trim. Her hair arrived w/ a burnt smell, which she said came from a NY-based Egyptian salon. I gave her a free detox treatment to help improve the scent & condition. Multiple clients complimented her hair before she requested more shaping. She even asked how to download the app to book again—so the review contradicts her words/actions in person. As a Black woman & biz owner, I work hard to uplift our community. It’s disheartening when we tear each other down instead of speaking up in the moment. A convo during the appt would’ve been appreciated—especially after I went above & beyond at no extra charge.
