This was my first experience with Alex and traditions barber shop. I have been getting my hair cut out of state and recently moved back and looking fo...r a good barber. The cut I described to Alex is different terminology here in Chicago so it took some back and fourth as to what I was looking for. Alex was patient, professional, and took his time getting me the right cut even though we went over time. Ive had too many barbers just finish a cut if they ran over time and its come out sloppy. You can definitely tell that he is a perfectionist and will not let you leave with a janky cut. I have longer hair on top and he scissor cut my hair and took his time. A lot of barbers who specialize in "fades" will do a quick number that looks good enough...this dude cuts hair. I think for the price it's spot on. He's respectful of your time as he let another customer know he was going to need extra 15 minutes to finish my cut. I will definitely come back as the haircut is worth every penny. If you are looking for a top tier barber check him out. Show more
