If you never considered acupuncture then you may want to read my story. Last year I had elective surgery that resulted in life-threatening and disfigu...ring complications. What started out as regret, over time transitioned to deep gratitude because it set me on the path of true self care. We give energy to our family and careers but often skate by when it comes to ourselves. What are three things we really want in our bodies; health, energy and comfort. Acupuncture is one of the few things that can restore qi (chi energy). I learned that in order to heal I needed to bring back energy into my body. I walked into the first appointment with a mix of trepidation, desperation and curiosity. But within moments Shaina made me feel comfortable and courageous. She is patient, kind, thorough and has a great sense of humor. What I really noticed however was her humbleness as connected to her incredible skill set. She has an innate understanding of energy and how to work with it. Now I'm not a needle person but her gentle approach calmed my nerves. At the end of the sessions she incorporated the most delicious myofascial release to a stubborn leg that was tingling as a result of nerve pressure. The myofascial bodywork felt so amazing that we started to incorporate that in the sessions. It felt like I was in a human taffy machine and I'm not kidding...absolutely amazing! Fascia is considered the body's largest organ and it has been so neglected...it really needs a publicist lol. Shaina is a multifaceted practitioner committed to healing by combining unique modalities. She is both gentle and powerful with a tool kit that everybody would benefit from. If you're longing for alignment with your own body, then for certain you must include Shaina. Show more

Sarah is wonderful! I have had plenty of massage, and can say with great confidence that Sarah provides a top-notch experience. Without a doubt Sarah provides one of the best massages I've ever had. Her unique out-of-the-country education seems to transport the experience. She ...utilizes hands on techniques that I've never felt...and I've been to Thailand. There is one in particular that feels amazing where one hand is on your neck and the other is on your heel and the stretch will blow your mind!! I'm just going to label it "The Sarah Stretch." She clearly understands where to focus and has a natural ability to understand appropriate pressure. Each massage brings new techniques which is a rare find. Her playlist will surprise you too.
