I’ve been with kaliq for over 10+ years now. Followed him wherever he goes in whichever shop he lands at. He now manages 61 barbershop and they couldn...’t be more blessed with an individual that cares not only about the client but the brand as well. People complain about prices this and prices that but I’m happy to pay for the experience and technicality he brings to the table. He’s my guy and I’m very fortunate to let him make me feel like a champ every time I leave the establishment. Sean and the crew at Sixty-One left me looking and feeling amazing and confident. One of the best barber experiences I've had. Sean's attention to det...ail and knowledge of working with different hair types and styles is really incredible. I don't have a full beard but he found a way to shave and shape it so that it compliments my natural facial hair and hairlines and made the whole look come together. I've tried a lot of different barbers over the past 9 years on O'ahu but I've found the one I'm going to be sticking with for years to come. Skills aside they have a super-inclusive shop with fun conversation and great music. Looking forward to my next cut Show more

That’s why when my son needed to get a haircut in preparation for USMC boot, I knew to take him to Kaliq. This is by far the best barber shop on the island! Kaliq is a master of his craft, every cut I’ve ever had from him has exceeded expectations every ti...me. I always leave Sixty-One barber shop feeling confident in my fresh cut. Kaliq is able to understand and execute everything I ask, and is able to help make suggestions in areas that I’m unsure about. Not only is the service beyond anything I’ve ever had, but the whole vibe of the shop it self is something incredible. You’ll get an amazing cut and have a great conversation as well. All the barbers and staff are so easy to vibe with. Kaliq is one of the friendliest people I know. Ever since my first visit, I’ve felt so welcome every time I walk through the doors. While I enjoyed meeting my operator, and received a pretty good haircut and beard trim, I paid for a premium package of services and didn’t receive ha...lf of them… no wash, no conditioning, no hot lather… I did like my haircut, although a couple misses, but I would give Kaliq another chance with less chat and more focus on service.
