It started with me wanting to get a snake 3d coiled around my collarbone. I met up with him at his studio and it took around 2 hours, and i was suppos...ed to schedule another appointment in a month to finish touch ups. The night I got home from the tattoo session, I texted him asking if he could do the same snake design as the one on my collarbone, but have it positioned slightly differently then the first one, and having it more of a chest piece as opposed to a collarbone piece but having it on the other side of my chest, and making the two snakes interacting with each other. Im not sure if i was clear enough, but i thought i was because he said “it will be looking good” so i assumed he understood. I asked him how long it would take to design the sketch and he said around 2 days. This happened on Saturday night, so I actually gave him about 5 days to work on the design, so i texted him again on thursdy evening. when i texted him again he said he finished it, but then the following texts where him asking questions about how i wanted the sketch because he didn’t understand what i wanted. So i asked him what has he been doing these past 5 days? since he told me he was designing the tattoo. He then told me that if I wanted him to design a tattoo for me, that it would cost extra. I told him that out of all the many hours I’ve put into tattoos, I’ve never had a tattoo artist charge me for sketching up the design, they only charged me for the actual inking session. If that was the case, then he needed to tell me that on Saturday night when I texted him about designing this tattoo It just seemed like a last minute way to get more money from me, and I told him that, and I asked him to give me some more understanding as to what was confusing. He just responded with “sorry I don’t have time at the moment.” and then blocked me, making any communication impossible between the two of us. He left an unfinished piece on my chest and collarbone, and cant even properly communicate with his clients what his charges and services are. Not to mention his studio isn’t an actual tattoo shop, but more a room in a house that he designated to tattooing. And while I was getting tattooed (in his gaming chair, because he doesn’t have a table for client to lay down on, or even a proper tattooing chair,) his little kid barged into the room asking for toilet paper. doesn’t seem very professional to me. The only reason why It’s not a one star is because the actually work he did was very well put together. It was just the lack of communication, and how he just blocked me cutting off any communication with me in the future. Show more
