I find myself grappling with profound disappointment and heartbreak after my recent encounter with Smurkfadez. The anticipation was high as I had dili...gently booked an appointment for today at 5 pm, considering the logistical challenge of a two-hour bus journey from Henderson to Summerlin, where Smurkfadez resides. Despite the hurdles, I managed to reach his place at around 3:40 pm, just a few minutes before my scheduled appointment at 4 pm. However, my anticipation was met with an unexpected blow. An hour into my bus ride, I received a text from Smurkfadez, revealing that he was unwell and unable to proceed with our appointment. While I can empathize with his health concerns, the manner in which the cancellation was communicated left much to be desired. Rather than receiving a professional and timely apology, I was informed at a critical juncture of my journey. As a Native American, I keenly felt the absence of courtesy and understanding, which left me not only saddened but also silenced in the realm of this business interaction. What further compounds my distress is the fact that I ended up being charged $2.50 for my RTC bus pass, essentially adding financial strain to an already disheartening situation. This experience has left me with a heavy heart, reflecting on the need for better communication and professionalism in business dealings, especially when it comes to appointments and cancellations.
