Hello, unfortunately I did not have a good experience at LuChic Nails this time around. I requested a regular mani/pedi. For my pedicure, the technic...ian cut my two big toenails extremely short, breaking skin on both toes, and subsequently leading to redness and a burning sensation (especially when she put alcohol on those toes! Ouch!) I was wincing in pain during the pedicure and had to gently tell the tech a few times to be careful with those areas. You could easily tell that the skin was broken/red, so I was confused as to why she wasn't more gentle. Unfortunately I continued to be in pain for a few days after the pedicure - I could not even wear socks, let alone closed-toed shoes, without being in pain and I was putting Neosporin on a few times a day to avoid an infection. This was really disappointing and frustrating. As far as my manicure went, the job was poorly done as well. The nail polish was cracked on the sides of some nails, even after I had asked the tech to do a touchup on these areas. On some nails the polish didn't even cover the whole nail on the sides. I'm not one to complain or make a big deal about this, but I honestly should have asked for a refund. It was just a messy job that I did not expect from a professional and might as well have done my nails myself. I don't think I will be coming back here. Show more

I booked an appointment in advanced which was very easy. On arrival, I wasn’t greeted right away, it was a little awkward. So I just told them I have ...an appointment. Then there was some woman who came up to me that looked really annoyed & she was pretty rude. She was the only one. Everyone else was super friendly, & I was nicely greeted by 2 other women. The first rude woman then started taking the gel off my toes & asked me what I want, & when I was trying to tell her she rolled her eyes & walked away. Maybe she was having a bad day. I didn’t see her for the rest of my service. She left the acetone and foil on my toes for 45 minutes without ever checking on them until finally someone else came to finish my pedicure. The lady that finished my pedicure was so nice, very sweet & did an okay paint job.. some of the polish is on the cuticle area. The woman who did my nails was also very nice the whole time.. up until I told her my French design was a little leaning to the left. Then she seemed to be a little annoyed but I could tell she tried not to be bothered by it. Over all, the experience was okay. I think I would be willing to come back and try this place out again since it wasn’t absolutely horrible but I might keep looking for another nail spot with hopefully a better experience. Show more

I enjoyed my first visit. I like that you can likely get a same-day appointment. However, the woman that did my gel fill was so rude. I told her that ...one hand had longer nails than the other but I didn't want to cut my longer nails. She trimmed my shorter nails first so she had to cut the longer one substantially. When I brought up that she had done exactly what I asked her NOT to do, she argued that nails grow at different rates (ignoring the fact that she didn't follow directions, no apology). She then immediately stopped talking for the rest of the visit and was noticeably irritated. The rest of the appointment was so awkward. What's worse, she rushed me through. My nail shapes were filed crooked (I asked her to fix 2) and my French tip design all leaned to the left. Shocked at how unprofessional that was to be spending that kind of money. I had to get them redone. Show more
