AWESOME FADES AND DETAILED CUTS AT A TRADITIONAL BARBERSHOP!! This is not your typical strip-mall barber shop. It is heads and shoulders above - pu...n intended! In 2019 they re-opened under new management/ownership and while there are only a few barbers full time, they are much more interested in spending the time to give you and your haircut the time it needs versus maximizing the number of guys they can squeeze in their chairs in a day. The decor and ambiance is that of a nicely restored, traditional and original barbershop style. The place is always extremely clean, with incredibly friendly staff and nice little touches you don’t expect in such a boutique place like complimentary drinks and hot towel services. The music tends to be that becoming their decor, the ‘days gone by’ setting, and what’s best is that it’s never loud (I dislike like it when the tunes are so loud that you can’t talk without shouting). The conversations are lively, varied and always fun. Luiggi, my barber, moved from a west side shop to here and I drive an extra 25 minutes and spend the extra $10 for the cut because as the common adage goes: “you get what you pay for!” & “if you find a service provider you like, stay with it” ...in this case it his him for sure!! Because they only have a few [really great] barbers, they get busy, especially on the weekends with their regular clients, so it’s best to call ahead and make a booking/reservation.
