Aprile, is amazing!!! I found her on the web. She had a 10am available appointment and I took a chance. What a great experience! WE discussed my hai...r type, what I was looking for in a style, what I love and disliked about my hair. I’ve never had a stylist take the time or interest on what I wanted. She’s positive, on time, patient and provides honest feedback. I’ve already booked my next 8week appointment and will be taking my daughter! She’s such a sweet soul and really knows what she’s doing! I don’t usually trust people with my hair, but she made me feel comfortable right away. She... took her time taking down my sew-in, washed and massaged my scalp so well, and even gave me great tips for caring for my natural hair. First time client today seeing Aprile and I have been blown away!! She is so sweet & kind! Her shop is very easy to find. Her salon space is so cute. ...We did a brief consultation before she started on my hair which I very much appreciate as many stylists I’ve gone to see don’t take the time to do that especially for a first meeting. Aprile took her time, and is a true professional at what she does! My hair turned out fantastic & I am now a permanent client of hers! So I need my hair done same day same morning and she literally took me. Remind me. I couldn’t even find the place and she was patient came outside. St...ayed on the phone. Didn’t get frustrated with me and you have to be very careful who you let in your hair and she explained every step of the whole process And usually when people do my hair it be all dry and be feeling thin, but she made sure my hair was moisturized bouncy and not feeling like heavy and oily like it’s noticeably moisturize and shiny. I am giving a five star review because Aprile seriously helped me by having an appointment time that worked for my schedule! I was in Chicago for a b...ig event and my time was very limited. The only time I had available was early morning at 6 AM or earlier. It was Sunday night and a serious hair emergency. Lol. I appreciate April because she had her times listed on her website which included Sundays and Mondays, which were the only days I had to get my hair done in time for the event. She answered her phone right away when I called to make an appointment and was happily willing to have the appointment at 6 AM or earlier. Her suite is very nice in a salon loft. She has a very nice window. If you’re downtown, you can walk there, but there is also street parking. She relaxed and styled my hair. She trimmed my ends very nicely. This was my first time going to her, and she saved me big time from attempting to wash and style my own hair for such a big event. My hair turned out great. I highly recommend Aprile for busy professionals and parents who need appointments at unconventional times. Show more
