Knotless Braids (Bra Length)

Memory doesn’t know how to braid consistently. She braided different sizes on my hair which was annoying because she would have to un-plait and start ...again. A real waste of my time. The hairpiece used is evidently cheap because it is already tangling and fraying a lot. The salon is boring and dull to say the least, I don’t know why they’ve named it “A-List” when there’s nothing “A-List” about it. No refreshments, no music, no ambiance, no experience and no customer care. It should be renamed to “Z-List”. I also had to run around and use up my time to make a payment for the hair because their card machine “wasn’t working”. I know this is a tactic that they are using to avoid paying transaction fees so they would rather inconvenience the client to go to an ATM or EFT instead of incurring transaction fees. That is greed! Unacceptable! I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Show more

Hi Wenzile, we appreciate your feedback but you must be honest with your feedback with the intention to build not to damage. You booked for the bra size and you requested for longer size and refused to pay. We use expression which is the best for braiding we don’t use cheap fibre. There are 2 options for payment which is a bank transfer or card payment which is stated on Booksy when making your booking. You left the salon without payment even though the services were rendered to you and at no point did you say you are not happy with your style even when we followed up with you. We don’t mind loosing you as a customer as your intention was to bully everyone and being rude unnecessary. We respect our clients but you are extremely rude and full of lies. Don’t come to the salon if you don’t have money to pay and expect the stylist to pay for your style after the service has been rendered to you. We kept reminding you and you kept making excuses. You are one of those people who undermine other black woman. Learn to respect others and communicate without shouting or being rude.

Going to play open cards with this review. The stylist (Memory) who I specifically booked was not the one who did my hair. Furthermore the stylist wh...o did my hair delayed my appointment an hour later, as she was on her phone sending voice notes and all. I arrived 8:42 and only started my hair after 10am. Hence why the estimated duration had not been adhered. My hair was completed around 4pm. I did not incl other services such as wash etc. Nonetheless, i enjoyed my first time experience at this salon, I was extensively told the aftercare for these braids, the stylist was gentle, I fell off to sleep a couple of times. This was the very first salon I witnessed cleanliness. Lastly, I would like to encourage the owner to incl more variety with colors - if possible. Show more
