Hemen is good. The scheduling team is not. The scheduling team tried to move my session from 1:45 to 1:15 at 1:07... How am I supposed to get there on... time for that? On top of that, they moved my time to 1:30 over the phone, and then ended up double-booking me with someone at 1:30 so Hemen had to rush. So I only got a 20-minute session instead of 40 minutes. Best Barber in London Arian has been cutting my hair & trimming my beard for a decade now and when he told me he was opening 1897 having loved Pavi...lion barbers I was excited to see it and it completely surpassed my imagination. No expense spared on furnishing or equipment I doubt there is a more elegant barbershop in the Western Hemisphere. As you enter you immediately take in the grand mahogany furnishings teleporting back to the 19th century; the time of the gentleman. If you feel like spoiling yourself book out his VIP room and indulge in opulence and privacy and wall sized Union flag learn what it feels like to be a King (for a couple of hours) Whether it’s a birthday party, a wedding or the first day of a new job- there is no one I else who I would trust to ensure that I arrive looking my best. Could not recommend enough- visit and find your barber for life Show more

A trip to get a haircut becomes a barber shop experience! My Son visited 1897 and loved it and bought me a visit for my birthday. The shop is tradit...ional and calming and unlike anything I have seen before. A fabulous welcome, with complimentary drinks while discussing what I required. Once in the chair, I enjoyed a professional service using top quality shaving and grooming products, some of which I could not resist and purchased from their extensive stock. I cannot recommend a visit to 1897 enough. I will certainly be returning. Show more

This Barber shop is the pinnacle of mens grooming and personal care. I've been to alot of different Barbers throughout London but I can comfortably sa...y this is by far the greatest experience I have had so far. From the very moment I entered I was immediatley made to feel welcome, I was offered a choice of complimentary hot or cold drinks, I opted for a black coffee and it was outstanding, it even came with biscotti and a chocolate on the side. The shop itself is stylish and immaculate, a blend of tradition with modern comforts. The staff were all extremely friendly and attentive, I had Arian cut my hair and he was phenomenal. Easy to talk to and clearly very experienced. I'm extremely happy with the cut and service I received, safe to say I will definitely be back regularly. Show more

Dear Mr Andrei, it is very unfair to see your negative review about our service and haircut quality! On yout arrival you were greeted and we took your coat and hang it for you! Drinks were offered to you 3 times ( even during the haircut ). If that's not a good service I don't know what else can be done! In terms of the haircut if there was any problem with it then you should've mentioned it while you were at the shop. Plus we tried to contact you to find out how to help you but you refused to answer! Regards
