Great barbers - they understand how to specifically section and layer hair depending on your desired look and hair type. Great haircut like always, sh...op has a great ambience and friendly staff. I did minus a star because i did wait around 25minutes until my haircut began - worth noting this booking was the free haircut service for barbers to master their craft, so they were overextended. Joth did inform of the delay and reassured we will be seen soon. Again, normal bookings with Savils - i never experienced any timing issues. If you are booking this particular service do be lenient with time, as you are aiding in the barbers education and time can be overextended from prior clients. Show more

I had a great experience with the academy barbers. They are not perfect at giving you the best haircut considering the comment I always listened from ...the mentors but I believe they are still the best in town. The imperfection was expected due to the barbers are still in learning phase and the haircut was free. Show more

This is a gorgeous traditional barbershop kitted out with some wonderful vintage decor. Reading and cuppa on arrival. knowledgeable staff who know th...eir craft inside out, Upside down and back to front ! Head turning premises, amazing staff and quality expert hair styling. You have to have been here to appreciate there's so much more to it! It's not even just a haircut. It's a totally new experience.! Show more

Wonderful service. Instantly greeted on arrival and welcomed, offered a drink. Staff attentive and always aware of who’s waiting and who has arrived f...irst. It’s a classy, friendly, skilled and extremely hard working top quality barbers - if not the best I’ve used in my life. All trainees are monitored and they’re encouraged to discuss what style is wanted prior and during the cut. I can’t fault the Academy. Show more
