Having moved back into the area from away I had been trying various barbers to get a haircut that suited my style and head. I’m blessed in my 60’s to ...have a thick mop that grows like weeds but this makes it challenging for most barbers for some reason. Rick took time to look at how my scalp and hair were growing and cut it to suit. I was delighted with the results and more importantly the boss at home was as well. Hygiene in the saloon was brilliant. I will be back. Show more

I discovered Ricks Barbers in Great Eccleston whilst browsing other Barbers that had no availability. Rick was open later than most which swayed it fo...r me. I pointed out, my hair had been butchered by a local so called ' Turkish 'barber. Rick explained what he could see had happened and explained how he was going to remedy the issue. I came away from Ricks with my hair salvaged and back to my usual self. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending Ricks Barbers and will certainly be a returning customer. Show more

Rick is so good with Jasper! We’ve been going to Rick for around a year now - Jasper is 13 and autistic - he’s never been a fan of having his hair cut.... So Rick has taken the time to build up a relationship with him and to make him feel as comfortable as possible! He’s patient, gentle and talks him through what he’s doing, so he’s aware of what’s happening and knows what’s coming next. They always have a good laugh as well! He’s as speedy as possible (that’s what Jasper likes) but he always does an amazing job and keeps Jasper calm until he’s finished! Thanks Rick! 🤩 Show more
