Prior to any procedure, a comprehensive ear assessment is carried out, which includes an otoscopic examination to evaluate the condition of the ear canal. This pre-treatment assessment is particularly beneficial for clients who are awaiting or considering audiology testing, as excess ear wax can significantly impact hearing test results. Ensuring the ear canal is clear allows for more accurate audiological assessment and supports optimal hearing outcomes.
