She didn’t push back my cuticles so after a week my nails looked like this. When I brought this up with her and asked her to take them off, not even a... refund just to remove them, she told me I can book with the app. So no I do not recommend. The acrylic was also nothing special, you’re better off going to a high street because at least it’s cheaper and better quality. Show more

Lilly was amazing as always. And for the girl that said she was “intimidating and uninterested” that is FAR FROM TRUE. If you felt like that, then tha...ts your own fault. Lilly is very warm and friendly and she always has good convo. Speaking as someone who’s been with her from her barbershop days, she is the best nail tech ( I would know because I’ve cheated on her which was a mistake). The other issue the girl raised which grinds my gears is about the lack of choice, she probably didn’t have the colour you wanted because as you said, she has a successful business SELLING acrylic powders. Do not recommend. My nails were good at first glance, although after leaving and seeing in natural light, the cuticle area wasn't cleaned up and some ...of the acrylic/gel polish work was messy. On the whole, I still liked the nails, even if they weren't exactly what I wanted. However, the nail tech seemed very intimidating, uninterested, hardly smiled, and like she didn't want to be there, it wasn't a fun atmosphere at all. Her materials were also lacklustre, she said she had no vibrant red acrylic and ended up adding the remnants of one powder to another. I found that strange considering she sells acrylic powders as part of her business. The gel she chose for my toes and 2 of my fingers were bright red though and did not match in the slightest with the acrylic mixture she came up with. I tried to make small talk initially but in the end, I just tried to go for silence and get my nails done with. It was just not a comfortable environment or friendly at all. I would have initially left an okay review as the price was fair and my nails looked good (unless you looked close up around the very messy edges and underside of the nails.) However, my sister was also booked in straight after me and her nails were a complete mess. She said it was completely rushed and was told her chosen design could not be achieved because of the length she chose. I think my sister's nails were rushed because she was the last client of the day so after that, I really was not impressed. I switched from my usual nail tech because I saw Lillydoll Nails Valentine's offer and she was much closer in proximity to my address, I won't be doing that again. The lower price and shorter travel does not redeem the service we had here. I will be returning to my usual nail tech. Would definitely NOT recommend. Show more

I'm sorry to hear that you felt the service you received was inadequate. With regards to your nails,you expressed to me that you were happy with them and went as far as to posting your satisfaction of nail design etc online. By that, I took it that you had no problems with what you received. You've also stated that you were unhappy with the shade of colour that I applied to your design. Unfortunately, I was unaware of this and remember quite clearly that I'd explained that I was out of stock on your preferred shade and was awaiting delivery for it. Furthermore, I can distinctively remember that you were more than happy to compromise with another shade. As for your sisters nails I explained that the design she wanted wouldn’t work with the length she wanted as the design required more nail length so she was happy to change the design around. Finally I'd like to address your points made about the customer service in general and the rapport between us during your appointment. I can honestly say that I do not recall there being any awkward silence or arrogance, but what I do remember is that we did have a lengthy and interesting conversation where you'd shared things that was happening with you etc. If I seemed unhappy or if you felt uncomfortable, again I would have happily seen to it, had matters been addressed in that moment. I'm quite disappointed to hear your experience and I'm sure we may only agree to disagree on your grievances with Lillydoll Nails
