First time using Shaving Ken, but heard good things. I booked for the Deluxe Hair and Beard service for £40. I went in with long, thick hair and asked... if it could be trimmed - so I could tuck my hair behind my ears, and to be a bit neater at the back/sides. I showed a photo of the hair cut I wanted (included in the review), but I seem to have a Backstreet Boys style with short back and sides. I was also quite surprised that the hair wash was halfway through the cut. That could just be me, but I would have thought it would be easier to wash then cut. Beard trim was good - I felt very relaxed and I’m happy with the hot towel beard service. Overall, a good experience with friendly staff but I didn’t leave with the hair cut/style I went in for. It’s a lot shorter than the example photo and feels pretty average. Show more

Just moved to Canterbury and tried a few hairdressers/barbers for the husband and two boys in our family. Before we found Shaving Ken we had multiple... overpriced bad haircuts. We have now had a combined 5 haircuts at Shaving Ken with both Casper and Charlotte.
