What an absolute gem of a barbershop! My son and I both had crazy long hair, wanted to go short. Monika didn't even flinch at the challenge and sorted... us both out with awesome new hair cuts. Superb little shop with a chilled out laid back vibe. My only issue is that I live 400miles away and wont be able to return until I'm on holiday again next year. Show more

Hoons Barbers Shop has to be the best barbers shop I've ever been to. I have always disliked going to the barbers but at Hoons the staff remember you ...and exactly what you like to have done each visit and call you by christian name. This visit my regular barber, Charlie, asked if I minded if their new barber cut my hair. Certainly not, and it was a great visit whilst Megan did a great job for me. I mistook Megan for a young newly qualified barber but she told me she had three children. I had a great time talking to this lovely lady whilst she cut my hair. She did a fantastic job for me and I was really pleased. I now can make a booking with Charlie or Megan and know that it will be a first class job. After leaving I called into a friends house and he said how good my hair looked. So Megan is a great stylist. Show more
