I recently visited Head Kandi and wanted to share my experience to help others. Firstly, it’s important to know that a prior appointment is mandatory ...— but unfortunately, that policy doesn’t seem to be followed inside the barbershop. I had an appointment but still ended up waiting over 40 minutes. When I asked the staff, they casually mentioned that it’s “normal practice” to run about an hour behind schedule, which defeats the purpose of taking an appointment in the first place. As for the haircut itself, I felt disappointed. The barber seemed to have a very basic approach, mainly offering just a few standard styles like full, half, or low fade — mostly by just running the trimmer around the head. If you ask for something different or specific, you may not get what you’re expecting. I personally felt that the barber lacked knowledge of fundamental cutting techniques, which made my haircut look more experimental than professional. Overall, if you’re someone who just wants a quick trim and isn’t particular about style, it might work for you. But if you’re looking for a barber who listens and understands custom styles, you might want to explore other options. Show more
