It wasn’t just the fact that it was a fantastic haircut and beard trim that made it such a great experience. From the moment I stepped in the door, I ...was impressed. I was greeted by My Young, one of the nicest people I’ve met, along with his dog, who had the sweetest temperament. I was offered a drink and we chatted through what I was looking for. At no point did anything feel rushed and he took the time to talk through his preferred methods for styling and was very attentive to detail. Between that, we just had a great conversation. If you are looking for a great barber, who listens and pays attention to detail and makes you feel welcome in their home stop looking because you’ve now found him. Show more

After leaving a 5 star review what seems like years ago ,im still convinced Martin is the by far the best Barber in York and be...yond ,in all this time ive never walked out of his meticulous"time capsule"old school Barber shop not 100% happy with my trim ,apart from becoming good friends with the man himself,im now in the privileged position of having Maggie the front of the house greyhound actually leave her throne to greet me when i walk through the door and not just roll over for her chin tickle ,a great honour indeed 👸😇 Show more
