After an absolute horror time of getting haircuts in 2024 in where I got the worst hair cut I ever had and left me in pain from how rough they were, m...y confidence was incredibly low. I put off having a haircut for the last 4 months and finally decided to try out Mankind Barbers after my work colleague had been a week prior. He explained how good they are and he was not wrong. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and conversation flowed throughout. Felt very at ease and Mary really listened and advised on my haircut and style. This is unlike any of your generic barbers. Best hair cut I have ever had and will be returning with confidence from now on. Couldn’t recommend anymore if you want a genuine professional haircut. I had a first-time lovely experience at Mankind. I booked online for a re-style. Mary helped me figure out how to change my hairstyle to better suit m...y looks, and she completely got what I was going for. She's a very amicable person, and chatting with her during my haircut put me at ease. I know some of us can find going to the barbers an awkward experience, and I'm one of those people! Going to Mankind wasn't like that at all. Both Pete and Mary are genuine and kind people who take their time to get to know their clients, and I really appreciate that. The shop has a cosy and homely atmosphere, and the waiting room is comfortable and tastefully decorated. My hair looks great now, and I feel more confident.
