From entrance to exit, the service is great. Always offered a hot or cold drink on arrival, which a barber shop absolutely does not have to do, but it... adds an inviting feel to your visit. My first haircut with Thomas was great, very clean cut and certainly made me want to return. Upon my return to the next cut, the service was the same except I was seated straight away. Thomas checked in, asking how I found the last cut, what I liked and what I didn’t like as much. I had one small suggestion for the back, which Thomas dealt with, as described. It’s so relaxed in The Avenue they deserve to do well. Cain is attentive and although this was my first repeat appointment he had recalled where I ...worked, my football interest and this time we got into gardening and boxing. Very easy going and no argumentative opinions - good chat! As well as this customer service but he knows what he is doing. My hair is very fine and straight (imagine a blond Chinese lad) which just wants to stick out. Cain has tamed it and enjoys the challenge. I’ve had a few disasters and so to find a place where you are confident the cutter knows what they are doing is a joy. Happy customer. Show more
