I've known Alina for a while before she came to Blackout Barbers, I used to get my hair cut with her at her old place of work out of all the other peo...ple working there because she is a professional and a perfectionist at her job. She takes her time to make sure that a good job is done rather than rushing and making mistakes, which is why i followed her from her old place of work to here. I highly recommend her, and if i could give her 11/10, then i would. She is my go-to for all my barbering needs! Show more

Apparently i booked two appointments when my confirmaion and app said one. A bit awkward when they informed that they woukd cancell one 'on my behalf'.... Was only there for half an hour and there were plenty of obvious issues with the app for other customers. Any 'walk in' had to wait while.head in phone staff checking for slots. Hinders the customer experience terribly. EDIT. The hair cut was excellent! Apologies - i initially thought i was reviewing the app! The barbers was welcoming and Alina was great with my son! I have amended to 4 star - but my two star (for this app) still stands! Show more

Blackout Barbers (Bridgend)
It came up as two appointments on our system, I can send you a screen shot to prove it, so not sure what happened with the app there. Of course we would cancel the other one, as it would have made space for someone else, so neither of our faults. However, I will review the camera footage of what went on. I wasn’t there myself, so I am sorry if you had a bad experience overall. I will be in touch to hopefully resolve the situation.

My son 12 yrs ,is very shy and doesn’t like having his hair cut. It took him a long time to build up a trust with the previous lady barber Samantha, b...ut she moved on. Alina was friendly & reassuring saying that she knew what cut all the young boys like. Each stage she stopped to check it was ok before carrying on. She took her time it wasn’t a rushed cut and he liked the end result (phew) Even saying I like that lady👍🏻 very professional Show more
