Made very welcome on arrival. Interesting, fairly short, course but with plenty of challenges. The drought had made the fairways parched (giving the ...ball plenty of bounce) but the greens were in pretty good condition. Show more

Chiddingfold is not a beginners course but it is a great course to learn on. The fairways are quite narrow on the whole and often sloping so you learn... quickly how to play balls either above or below your feet!! The staff are super friendly and work really hard to keep the course in good condition. The only negative point would be as it is a public course it can be quite dangerous ((due to the proximity of the fairways) to play on a busy weekend!! Show more

I loved the course - sadly it didn’t love me back and I played really poorly. Challenging, tight layout with a few tricky holes which catch out the sl...ack of mind [like me….] Lots of rubbish on the course - they’d had a busy Bank Holiday weekend - but why can’t people use the bins provided…..! Friendly staff and ‘ok’ clubhouse for a coffee/beer after the torture ends….. :-) Show more

The staff are courteous and the course is in good condition. The bunker maintenance is ongoing but didn’t hinder us.
