I initially booked a cut with the manager, I arrived 10 minutes early only to be told the Manager had gone home ill, I understand if you are ill the b...est place is home, however I didn’t get a phone call to inform me, this would have saved me a journey from the Peak District to City Centre and paying for parking. I give 3 starts because Katie eventually did my hair and she did a good job so I would give her 5 stars. Unfortunately the lack of communication is the reason for 3 stars, I didn’t receive an apology or anything, I doubt I’ll be coming here again, Chambers next time. UPDATE I got reimbursed thank you. Hi David , unfortunately the Manager left work unwell around 3pm today and as your appointment was at 3:30 we felt not enough time was left to cancel/ reschedule your appointment and so placed you with another barber Katy who as you say you did a “ 5 star service“ as a gesture of good will we have reimbursed you for your haircut. Sorry for any inconvenience. Savills UPDATE: sorry David I should have mentioned payment back through the system can take up to 7 days
