Hi , I’m one of the regular and loyal customers at Megan’s nails , and use the service almost on a monthly basis. All staff are great there except th...is time I was charged £38 for removing gel varnish ONLY from my natural nails and applying an overlay and again gel on my natural nails! So basically I didn’t have a whole new set of acrylics with tips which normally costs £38!!! So I’m quite surprised with what I had to pay! What surprised me more was when chi told me that she had to remove the gel that’s why it’s expensive !! But it was JUST gel not the nails etc! But disappointing really! Show more

The shop opened 35 minutes late. I have been coming here for a year and a half now so I’m just one of their loyal customers. I was very surprised that... no discount was given for the delay caused. However, I will say that my nails are what I wanted and asked for. Show more

Megan’s Nail Spa was the most unprofessional salon I’ve even been to. The lady doing my nails took an hour and a half to do a simple biab infill. She ...consistently stopped to chat to the lady next to her and show her pictures on her phone. She forgot to do my second coat on one hand, so had to file off the top coat and do it again. Clearly because she was distracted the entire appointment. I also booked a pedicure and did not receive this. My toenails were immediately filed and painted with gel, my feet were not soaked and dead skin removed like I had booked. The worst part was the lady doing my toes couldn’t do a French tip. It took 3 attempts and a different technician to do a simple white line. I feel this is a pretty basic requirement. If I hadn’t been vocal that it was uneven I would’ve left with a thick line on one toe, and a thin line on the other. I’m still not happy with the result but I couldn’t wait for a fourth attempt to happen. Most importantly the salon was completely over booked. It was a very busy, loud and stressful environment, it was not a relaxing Sunday at all. Overall I was in there for 2 and a half hours for a simple infill and gel on my toes, it felt like a complete waste of my afternoon. I would never return to this salon and I’m very upset that I paid full price for such an appalling service. Show more
