Really great Santa experience for dogs, cafe was lovely and the market stalls were great too! The actual Santa was very good with the dogs and the pre...sents were lovely too! Only slight downside was there wasn’t a specific pen for smaller dogs to run around as dogs of all sizes were mixed together and my dog was quite small in comparison so we weren’t really able to let him play as the big dogs were a little too rough for him - would be nice if next year there was a specific small dog slot or a small dog pen so they could run about together with similar sizes dogs Show more

Hi there Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review! As a park, we normally offer small, medium and large sessions along with our mixed breed fun park sessions. However, our Santa Paws sessions have always operated as mixed breed due to having so many multi dog customers wanting to have both their large and small dogs attend on the same visit. We did have the 2 fields in operation to allow more introverted types their own space. However in a large event like this sometimes dogs can feel overwhelmed both by the Santa experience and then coming into a large number of dogs. Please accept a complementary small dog session for any Saturday or Sunday afternoon of your choice as a way of making sure your little one gets to have the fun experience missed out on at the weekend (give us a wee call to secure this). We will take your feedback to our next meeting to look at the possibility of implementing specific size Santa visits for next year. We visited on 15/12 for the Santa Paws event and Harper had a blast! One of the members of staff was extremely thoughtful as Harper was coming out of ...season and allowed her and her sister into a private paddock to run about. We cannot recommend this place enough and our girls always have a great time! Show more

A wonderful experience from start to finish! It's so evident that Wild River is run by dog lovers, the entire park is so well thought out and special... praise must be given to the designated times for different breeds and sizes. My 10 year old Rottweiler was booked in for a session in the Snifari Sensory Garden, but the team were kind enough to let us have time with the Big and Bouncy dogs, which made our girl so happy. We thoroughly enjoyed our hot drinks and traybakes, and meeting all the different dogs and their equally lovely owners. Thank you so much for a great time! We will be back! Show more
