Shirley was warm, welcoming and professional. From the moment you step in you’re in a luxurious space! From the shampoo to the blow dry and straighten...ing everything’s done thoroughly. This was my first time attending a salon and receiving the full Slik press service; it’s been 3 weeks and it’s still holding up well I’ve gotten a lot of compliments too! I highly recommend Jennifer Cynthia Hair Salon. I have been looking to book for a while, but I’ve previously had bad experiences with hair salons. I d...ecided after the reviews and YouTube channel videos that I would book an appointment. I am so glad I did, even though I’d have to travel over an hour. I booked my first appointment with Shirley. She was super sweet, kind, and reassuring. She was gentle with the detangling. I enjoyed the entire session. I almost fell asleep with the steam treatment and aroma therapy. After the shampoo and treatments, Shirley began the silk press process. I felt her love and passion for hair. I felt like I was watching an artist at work, and she created a masterpiece with my hair. I will return in future and recommend Jennifer Cynthia Hair Salon to everyone. Show more

Having researched many hairdressers for daughter. We settled on Jennifer Cynthia hair salon. Shirley was an absolute star, full of energy and enthusia...sm, she really engaged my daughter who’s quite tender headed and sensitive with a full head of dense hair. The environment was clean and aesthetically pleasing with a touch of opulence and elegance. I was really impressed with her love for hair care. I was particularly worried about the blowout as it’s normally very smoky, but Shirley made sure the hair was not exposed to unnecessary heat and the smoke was minimal. I was happy with my daughter’s silk press result and she was too that she had this to say. “really liked how it felt when Shirley did my hair because it felt really nice and she was really gentle . The salon looked really good. When she straightened my hair it is now easier for me to do my hair to go to school. And my favourite thing was the scalp scrubber Shirley use” Show more

I had the Maintenance C treatment and it was a fabulous experience as usual. Jennifer is an amazing stylist my hair always looks healthy with lots of ...free movement when I leave. There’s a great atmosphere as soon as you step into the salon. The attention to detail is second to none and you are welcomed with great snacks too. I let the salon know in advance it was my birthday and I was met with a beautiful surprise birthday gift package ! Lovely salon space and very knowledgeable stylists. They listen to you and give advice based on what you would like and their own expertise. This salo...n cares about the health of your hair. They are very welcoming and hospitable. I was given a wash and blow dry with a trim to get rid of all my dead ends. I very much enjoyed the experience and having Jennifer answer all of my questions. Amazing results! I went for a silk press amazing results, with Shirley. She was very kind and made me feel comfortable. My hair had the best wash and ...steam I have ever experienced. The blowout, press and slight trim,was the best my hair has ever looked. Shirley gave me great advice, as I have thin edges and need all the help I can get. I am a customer for life now.
